Comparative adjectives:Comparative adjectives are used in order to compare between two objects or two individuals. 85t51

➡️ Short adjectives:
we add -er to a short adjective.(Short adjective) + -er + than

Examples: 
◼️ My sister is shorter than me.  (Adjective + ER THAN)
◼️ Warm ===> warmer◼️ Young ===> younger.

When the adjective ends with a consonant preceded by a vowel, we double the last consonant.Ex : Big ==>Bigger

➡️ Long adjectives:
We add more when using long adjectives. More + (long adjective) + than 

Example: Lydia is more intelligent than Sam. Exciting ==> more exciting. Expensive ==> more expensive 

When the adjective ends in y, the y turns into i.

Examples: : Easy ===>easier Heavy ===>heavier

Irregular comparative forms:

The exceptions:  bad ==> worse.

good => better,

far => farther/further (different meanings test),

little ==> less. much ==> more / many

Exercise: Find the comparative form. Don't forget "than".
